Code of Conduct

Another small milestone in the back end work to get things going. Our Code of Conduct is completed and loaded to the website. It covers general behaviour, expectations, dress code, and much more. The whole point of this is to make sure we have all of the necessary material laid out for everyone to see as we build this event. These have been the hallmark points we strive to hammer home to be a welcoming and warm environment to anyone who wishes to attend.

Much of what we're doing is to rekindle that old early 2000's convention experience we used to know and love. When it was all about just meeting up with a bunch of random strangers in the middle of some random hotel for the first time and realizing how much you have in common or even just how much fun they are. The whole point is to just relax and be a stupid person in an animal costume. Help someone realize that there's a place they fit in. You don't need to know everything about someone to just meet up once a year, have a good time, and go back to living your life until the next event with a new contact in your phone that you can ring or text whenever you need to vent or blow off some steam.
