Today we spent some time updating and completing our social media profile setup. With this, we should be able to effectively reach out and coordinate with the public as we grow. TikTok, Bluesky, X, Facebook, Youtube, even a Discord server are all setup and linked. Information will be announced on this site as the primary sourced and then filtered out through our socials as new announcements and operational milestones are achieved.

Another small milestone in the back end work to get things going. Our Code of Conduct is completed and loaded to the website. It covers general behaviour, expectations, dress code, and much more. The whole point of this is to make sure we have all of the necessary material laid out for everyone to see as we build this event. These have been the hallmark points we strive to hammer home to be a welcoming and warm environment to anyone who wishes to attend.

We've started working on designing a permanent logo for the convention. As we get closer to a final working draft, you can watch as the imagery on the site evolves from our hand drawn logo to the rendered production version and so forth. We start off with a design done with a good old fashioned No. 2 pencil and some sketch paper then scan in our rough draft as a template and begin manufacturing layers in Photoshop CS until we have a working draft and finally work out the next

We're starting to tool up for the launch of the Grey Muzzle Convention! Website work has begun and we're looking into venues and staff/volunteers. Once we have established the basic team and operating structure, we'll being our solidification of our location.
